Artista Visual, Grabadora, Poeta, Gestora Cultural.
Con formación inicial en grabado y una larga trayectoria nacional como internacional. Su vida de arte la divide tanto en docencia universitaria, como en gestión cultural.Directora de la organización cultural PerroSur, entidad orientada a la difusión y la enseñanza de las artes gráficas en Valparaíso, Chile. Profesora de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso y de la Universidad de Viña del Mar.Su trabajo basado en la interpretación de obras poéticas, se hace presente en la simplicidad de sus formas y su "biocromatismo", así como la inclusión de figuras antropomórficas.Ha participado en exposiciones colectivas tan importantes como Grabado Manifiesto en el parque cultural de Valparaíso y Centro Cultural Estación Mapocho de Santiago, además de exposiciones en Argentina, Francia e Italia.
Se aleja de este mundo el 2020, dejándonos un gran legado. Muchas gracias querida amiga, gran artista, fiel hermana y bella alma.
She was a visual artist, with initial training in printmaking and a long national and international career. Her art life divides her into both university teaching and cultural management.
She was director of the cultural organization PerroSur, an entity focused on the dissemination and teaching of graphic arts in Valparaíso, Chile. Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Valparaíso and the Universidad de Viña del Mar. Her work is based on the interpretation of poetic works, is present in the simplicity of their forms and their biochromatism, as well as the inclusion of anthropomorphic figures.
She was part of an important group exhibitions such as Grabado Manifiesto at the cultural park of Valparaíso and Centro Cultural Estación Mapocho in Santiago, as well as exhibitions in Argentina, France and Italy.
In July 2020 Paula sadly passed away leaving her posthumous work as a legacy. Her artwork is still on display in the gallery.
